About Me
Meet Eslam, an Egyptian software engineer who has been building practical digital products and systems since 2012.
Let’s get acquainted
If this is our first time meeting, you can simply call me Eslam. No titles needed.
I was born in Cairo in 1993. I cannot point to a prestigious international degree that opened the door for me to become a Software Engineer. What I can point to is a long list of satisfied clients and, by God’s grace, a reputation strong enough to keep me moving forward with the same passion since 2012 — without spending a single dollar on paid advertising or marketing.
Growing up with a computer at home in the mid-1990s — which was no small thing at the time — gave me one of the greatest opportunities of my life: access to a world I did not even know existed.
I might never have discovered that world without God’s grace and my father, who made that opportunity possible. ❤️
Then chance stepped in again. An Arabic book about a programming language called BASIC found its way into my hands when I was still very young — before I had even fully mastered Arabic itself. :)
That was the beginning of my curiosity about how software works, how things are built, and how ideas can come to life inside the digital world.
Limited learning resources and the lack of internet access held me back in many ways. Most importantly, no one had told me that the things I was building could actually earn me a living. :)
And that is where a very different journey began...
Along the way
Over the years, I have worked on projects across a wide range of fields, including:
Learning management systems (LMS), educational platforms, utility apps and tools, e-commerce platforms, corporate websites, landing pages, and more.
I have also collaborated with companies of different sizes across Egypt and the Gulf, helping them deliver digital projects, translate business needs into practical products and systems, and shape realistic digital-transformation plans.
Outside of work
I value calm and generally dislike noise — including the kind that comes from inside my own head.
Respect and honesty are the quickest ways to earn my trust.
I have very little patience for lies, liars, or the people who keep them company.
Sport has played an important role in my life. It taught me discipline, self-control, and how to rise above trivial distractions.
Money matters too, and I will not pretend otherwise. But having money does not automatically make someone valuable — at least not in my eyes. Character, integrity, and what you do with what you have still matter far more.
